More about this tour
This Glass Making Masterclass is conducted in the Glass Studio of the Glass Museum In Lviv, the first and currently the only glass museum in Ukraine, founded in 1992 by Professor Andriy Bokotey with the goal then to exhibit the results of International Blown Glass Symposiums in Lviv.
The building where the Glass Museum is situated was built in 1593 and originally used as a post office. Its subterranean rooms, where the Glass Museum's collection is housed, are the original cellars from an earlier Gothic structure.
The collection of the Museum consists of more than 350 art pieces gathered from earlier International Blown Glass Symposiums, the works of more than 150 glass-making artists from more than 30 countries.
