- Venture down Prospekt Svobody to Rynok Sqaure while you learn about the origin of coffee and chocolate traditions in Lviv dating back to the 18th century when it was a part of the Austro-Hungarian province of Galicia.
- Visit a number of Lviv's most popular cafés, including ones that inspired famous musicians, artists, and even mathematicians; among them the Lviv Coffee Manufacture where historically in its lower level – the catacombs - ancestors supposedly were “mining coffee bars.” By the way, the coffee here is served in metal cups that the waiter heats to boiling with a blowtorch!
- Then, indulge your sweet tooth at the Lviv Chocolate Factory, where you can purchase all manner of handmade chocolate treats.
